Really cool puzzle platformer. I think its in a strange area of needing both precise input and smart thinking. Most platformers lean one way or the other (some examples: portal - mostly puzzle with some reflexes required; celeste - skill and figuring out how to implement mechanics woven throughout) Making this a full game would be interesting, though it would probably need to pick one to make it more cohesive. Or go with both and see how it turns out! That is, if you are planing to make this a full thing, but it certaintly has potential!

Thanks so much for playing and leaving some feedback, I really appreciate it! I agree that trying to stretch the existing formula will be really tough compared to leaning to one direction. You're in luck, I am indeed planning a full game based on the concepts and character here in I NEED PAIN, so that is definitely something to look forward to. More puzzles, more pain, characters, a story... it's going to be awesome! Hope to get your feedback then as well.

Lots of love and care went into all of the little animations! I love the hearts periodically "beating" and the foot-tapping idle animation!

I appreciate you noticing the love! It's woven throughout, to ease the pain.

That was fun! I could totally play hours of this. Give me mooooore! 🤣 I was boppin' to the tunes with our main character's boppin' animation. Diggin' the level design. Enjoyed the animations. If I could use a controller I'd have a shot at getting through with 0 deaths.

I appreciate your generous compliments!! More is definitely coming. Controller support is coming sooner than that!

sweet, thank you so much! I can definitely upload this track. I will post it on my mostly-barren YouTube channel and link it in another reply!

Such a great little game and concept — don't know if you have plans to expand this at all, but it's definitely got some legs!  Love the little tune and the B&W style and silky-smooth animations!

100% going to be tightening and expanding this concept ASAP!!

heck to the freaking YES
